With the firing of Andy Reid, the Philadelphia Eagles are eager to start the 2013-2014 season with a new coach at the helm. But will Philadelphia’s luck change? They have star receivers, but no quarterback. The chances of Michael Vick returning as the starter are slim and the Eagle’s defense needs some retooling.

Many fans also want to know if the Eagles will have a winning season. This is a hard question to answer as the off season is barely under way. There is no quarterback in the discussion as of today, nor has new head coach made any significant moves to help out.

The Eagles are at a standstill now in late February. Now major changes have been made at the head coaching position, the rest of the team needs to fall in line as well. Attitude issues from some of the team’s key players also need to subside if the team has any chance of getting back on the winning train. However, the chances of them turning around the entire fate of the team in one season is a hard to make. Many and are not giving any early favors to the Eagles. Perhaps they will draft well, but it is going to take a lot more than a first round quarterback to turn things around in Philly.
