NFL Betting News: T.O. Joins Ocho Cinco In Cincinnati For 2010-11
As if their wasn’t enough ego at the wide receiver position with the recently renamed Ocho Cinco catching passes from quarterback Carson Palmer in Cincinnati, the Bengals announced the signing of free agent pass-catcher Terrell Owens on Monday night. The two sides agreed to a two-year, $2-million deal that contains several different incentives depending on how many catches and yards Owens contributes to the offense over the tenure of the contract. It almost seems as though the Bengals are shooting themselves in the foot with the performance incentives, particularly given Owens’ past and the different problems that he has had over the years, as his desire to catch those marks might make him think a little too much about the money and less about his team. Nonetheless, it will be interesting to see how two of the biggest ego’s in the game will manage splitting passes.
MLB Betting News: Strasburg Suffers Injury To Shoulder
Rookie pitching phenom Stephen Strasburg of the Washington Nationals was diagnosed with a shoulder inflammation on his pitching arm Tuesday night, a short while after he was scratched from a potential start against the Atlanta Braves. There is obvious concern surrounding the righty’s powerful arm, especially given his strength and velocity, and hopefully for Nationals’ fans this isn’t a sign of things to come. The Nationals ended up winning without Strasburg, as Miguel Batista went five shutout innings in a 3-0 win.

Sports Betting News: Bosh Chose To Sit Out At End Of Last Season
In an exclusive interview with the FAN 590 in Toronto on Wednesday, Raptors’ General Manager Bryan Colangelo discussed what happened down the stretch run with his former franchise player Chris Bosh during his final season with the team, and given the nature of the comments he made, it would appear as though the Toronto executive was disappointed with the power forward’s decision-making. Out for several weeks due to a knee injury, Bosh was deemed eligible to return by team doctors, and was cleared to play Toronto’s final few games as the team battled with the Chicago Bulls for the final playoff spot in the Eastern conference. Rather than play, Bosh opted to sit out and rest his knee, apparently looking past this year with the Raptors and to his future in the sport. Colangelo made sure to mention how their was no inflammation in the knee, and that their was no other structural damage revealed in an MRI, making it clear that Bosh not playing was simply his decision. The 26-year old signed a deal with the Miami Heat this offseason, effectively ending his tenure with the team that drafted him.
