The Seton Hall Pirates were safely in the NCAA Tournament after their 19-5 start.  But they lost four in a row thereafter and have had to really fight these last few games to get off the bubble.  They beat DePaul at home before a huge 89-77 win at Providence.  They can’t afford to let up now because a loss to St. John’s would look very bad for them. 

St. John’s opened 0-11 in Big East play before shockingly winning four straight games over Duke, Villanova, Marquette and DePaul.  But they had their winning streak snapped with a 73-85 loss at Marquette last time out, and I certainly question their motivation the rest of the way now that they have nothing but pride to play for. 

Seton Hall is 7-0 ATS as a road underdog of 3 points or less or PK over the last three seasons.  St. John’s is 2-9 ATS after having won three of their last four games over the past two seasons.  The Red Storm are 1-8 ATS when playing against a good team (win % of 60% to 80%) this season.  Bet Seton Hall Saturday.
