Postby Freddy Wills » Fri Nov 04, 2011 5:08 pm

betting won’t take place until Sunday, but there is plenty of action on Saturday to get you through the day, beginning with a huge day in college football, along with an overseas trip for the UFC and finally, some NHL action.

College Football Odds

Texas Tech Texas Odds (12:00 PM ET): The No.21 Longhorns are favored by 14.5 points at home, and a would tell you that the Red Raiders, one of the worst defensive teams in the country, have lost their last six trips to Austin.

South Carolina Arkansas Odds (7:15 PM ET): In the SEC appetizer, the No.7 Razorbacks are 5.5-point favorites at home against the No.9 Gamecocks, who are struggling to put points up in the absence of their two biggest offensive stars (one through injury, one for disciplinary reasons).

LSU Alabama Odds (8:00 PM ET): In the main event, the No.2 Crimson Tide are favored by 4.5 points over the No.1 Tigers in Tuscaloosa, where LSU has won four of their last five trips. The matchup between former LSU coach Nick Saban and current Tigers leader Les Miles will be thrilling to watch in a battle of two coaches who have won national titles.

Kansas State Oklahoma State Odds (8:00 PM ET): The No.3 Cowboys are massive 21.5-point favorites at home according to your services, and you have to think that it’s due to the No.14 Wildcats getting blown out at home by Oklahoma last week.

UFC Odds

UFC 138 Odds (4:00 PM ET): Mark Munoz is a -260 favorite in the main event in Birmingham, where Chris Leben has fought before and a good will say he is a dangerous underdog in this middleweight affair. It will also be the first non-title fight to be set at five rounds.

NHL Odds

Bruins Maple Leafs Odds (7:00 PM ET): The Maple Leafs should be the home favorites against the defending Stanley Cup champions, who are mired at the bottom of the Northeast, which is led by Toronto.

Ducks Red Wings Odds (7:00 PM ET): The Red Wings will be favored at home against a slumping Ducks team that can’t wait to get back to the West Coast.

Penguins Kings Odds (10:30 PM ET): The Kings should be favored in Los Angeles in a battle of two exciting teams that like to play an open game, but they have excellent goaltenders at the back of both teams.

Predators Sharks Odds (10:30 PM ET): The Sharks will be the favored team at the “Shark Tank”, while the Predators trot out their goaltender who just received a massive new deal. However, they need him to remain a darkhorse at your favorite .
