Sports Betting – A Look At Thursday’s Betting Ticket

fans will get a Thursday night matchup to check out in their sportsbooks, but there is plenty of variety on the menu as college football, NCAA hoops and the NHL are also featured as we head towards the weekend.

NFL Odds

Eagles Seahawks Odds (8:20 PM ET): Philadelphia is a 3-point favorite on the road in this contest, but a would tell you that Michael Vick and Jeremy Maclin will be out again and the Eagles didn’t fare too well last week at home against New England. Meanwhile, Seattle is a tricky place to play; just ask New Orleans.

NCAA Football Odds

West Virginia South Florida Odds (8:00 PM ET): The No.23 Mountaineers are 1.5-point favorites on the road against the Bulls, who are still looking to become bowl eligible after losing six of their last seven games, including five in a row by 10 points or less.

College Basketball Odds

St. John’s Kentucky Odds (7:30 PM ET): The No.1 Wildcats will be favored at Rupp Arena, where they have won 37 in a row, which is second to only Duke. The Red Storm have lost three of their last four, two of which were ranked teams, and one of a disappointing home loss to Northeastern. They’re going to have their hands full with Kentucky’s athletes.

Georgetown Alabama Odds (9:30 PM ET): The No.12 Crimson Tide will be favored in your , and they’re fifth in the nation in terms of home winning streaks as they’ve won 24 straight at Coleman Coliseum. The Hoyas won’t roll over though, as they’ve lost by four to Kansas and are coming off a win over Memphis, so it won’t be a surprise if Georgetown springs an upset on Alabama, who usually gets more attention for their football team.

NHL Odds

Penguins Capitals Odds (7:00 PM ET): It’s tough to tell who will be favored in this intriguing matchup, and the first meeting of the season for superstars Sidney Crosby, who recently returned to the lineup for the Penguins and has 11 points in five games, and Washington counterpart Alex Ovchekin. The Capitals’ captain didn’t play well in a 2-1 loss against St. Louis in the debut of new head coach Dale Hunter and he has been taking heat for the firing of Bruce Boudreau. Washington desperately needs to have a good game in front of their new coach and show why many picked them to win the Stanley Cup, but they’re facing a team with new life as Crosby has energized a team that was already at the top of the Eastern Conference. It wouldn’t see a surprise to see Pittsburgh as road favorite in .
