Sports Betting – A Look At Thursday’s Wagering Options

The is on the horizon and there is an intriguing matchup to tip off the weekly TNT doubleheader that should get your attention, but it is also a full day in NCAA conference-tournament action, while the NHL rolls on and the second World Golf Championship event tees off in Florida.

NBA Odds

Magic Bulls Odds (8:00 PM ET): Dwight Howard may be staying in Orlando….or is he? One of the teams he is being touted to head to is Chicago, where he could team up with reigning MVP (and fellow Adidas spokesman) Derrick Rose. All players should have at least one eye on this game.

Mavericks Suns Odds (10:30 PM ET): In the nightcap, Dallas heads to Phoenix to face off with ex-Maverick Steve Nash, and there are rumors that the defending champions could make a move for the two-time MVP. Again, it’s all very interesting.

College Basketball Betting

Kansas State Baylor Odds (12:30 PM ET): The No.12 Bears are 2-point favorites in the Big 12 tournament in Kansas City against the Wildcats, who split a pair of close meetings with Baylor this season.

Penn State Indiana Odds (1:55 PM ET): The No.15 Hoosiers are favored by 13.5 points in the Big Ten tournament over Penn State, and this could get ugly.

Texas Iowa State Odds (9:30 PM ET): The Longhorns are 1-point favorites over the No.25 Cyclones, and Texas may need to win the Big 12 tournament to avoid missing for the first time since 1998.

NHL Odds

Sabres Bruins Odds (7:00 PM ET): These Eastern rivals don’t like each other, so there could be some fisticuffs when Buffalo travels to Boston on Thursday night.

Rangers Senators Odds (7:30 PM ET): New York heads to Canada’s capital to take on the Senators, who have won seven of their last 10 games.

Jets Canucks Odds (10:00 PM ET): Winnipeg is a great home team, but those that work with services know you have to win on the road as well, and the Jets will be in Vancouver to take on a struggling Canucks team.

Golf Betting

WGC-Cadillac Championship Odds (tee times start at 11:00 AM ET): New world No.1 Rory McIlroy is the favorite heading into this event, but he’ll have to hold off Tiger Woods, who has conquered the Blue Monster at Doral three times and is coming off a blistering 62 in last week’s Honda Classic to finish behind McIlroy, who will tee off with Luke Donald and Less Westwood at 11:50 AM ET. At 12:40 PM ET, Woods will tee off with Nick Watney (who beat Woods in the WGC Match-Play and won this event last year) and Sergio Garcia. There are plenty of solid options in your book.
