Sports Betting Online – A Look At Thursday’s Betting Options

Postby Freddy Wills » Wed Mar 28, 2012 5:15 pm

will be the hot ticket on Thursday’s sportsbook schedule as there are four teams in action that all have a legitimate chance to win the title, including a rematch of last year’s Finalists. In other action, the NIT champion will be decided in college hoops, there is some NHL to check up on and the pre-Masters tournament tees off in Houston.

NBA Betting

Mavericks Heat Odds (8:00 PM ET): Miami got a little revenge for last season’s loss to Dallas in the NBA Finals in the opener on Christmas Day, but a good player knows that they would trade that win in for a championship in a heartbeat. Right now, the Heat are on a two-game slump and they could be ripe for the Mavericks.

Thunder Lakers Odds (10:00 PM ET): Los Angeles has been in the news lately for potential problems between head coach Mike Brown and his players, notably his benching of Kobe Bryant and Andrew Bynum in games. Now, they have to get together before playing an Oklahoma City team that is playing some of the best basketball in the league.

NCAA Basketball Odds

Minnesota Stanford Odds (7:00 PM ET): This matchup is a pick ‘em as No.3 Stanford and No.6 Minnesota, who took down top-seeded Washington in an overtime thriller on Tuesday. The Final Four doesn’t start up until Saturday, if you need to get your college basketball fix, the NIT at Madison Square Garden is the way to go.

NHL Odds

Capitals Bruins Odds (7:00 PM ET): Boston is starting to find their form as they prepare to host Washington, who are still in the hunt for a playoff spot, while doubling as the most disappointing team in the league among players that use price [url-http://www.payperhead.com/price-per-head/]per head[/url] services.

Sharks Coyotes Odds (10:00 PM ET): San Jose sits atop the Pacific Division as of Wednesday, and they have a massive trip to Phoenix as the Coyotes are one point behind the Sharks, but only in eighth in the Western Conference standings.

Golf Betting

Shell Houston Odds (tee times start at 8:20 AM ET): Redstone is usually set up to mirror the conditions at Augusta National, site of next week’s Masters, which makes the Shell Houston Open a popular stop on the PGA Tour. Groups to watch include Keegan Bradley, Lee Westwood and Graeme McDowell at 8:50 AM ET, Hunter Mahan, Steve Stricker and Johnson Wagner at 9:00 AM ET, and Fred Couples (who went to the University of Houston), Phil Mickelson and defending Masters champion Charl Schwartzel at 1:40 PM ET. All of these players can be found today in your favorite book.
