Sports Betting – A Look At Saturday’s Wagering Options

will be in high demand on Saturday as the playoffs continue on Saturday, but there is also a matchup in the NBA worth watching, as well as a few MLB contests and the return of the NASCAR Sprint Cup series to Texas Motor Speedway.

NBA Odds

Suns Spurs Odds (9:00 PM ET): Most would tell you that these Western Conference franchises have a long history against each other, and the Suns need a win to stay in the race for a playoff spot, while the Spurs aim to bounce back from a disappointing loss at home to a Los Angeles team that was without Kobe Bryant.

NHL Betting

Capitals Bruins Odds (3:00 PM ET): Boston shouldn’t have even gone to overtime in Game 1 as they dominated Washington, but Capitals goaltender Braden Holtby had a fantastic game in his playoff debut.

Senators Rangers Odds (7:00 PM ET): The Rangers rolled through the first two periods of a 4-2 win in Game 1, but the Senators showed that they had some fight left in them in the third stanza, which makes for an interesting Game 2.

Red Wings Predators Odds (7:30 PM ET): Nashville’s Shea Weber will play after missing a suspension for smashing the head of Detroit’s Henrik Zetterberg into the glass at the end of Game 1’s 3-2 win, and the Red Wings will also be without the injured Darren Helm.

Kings Canucks Odds (10:00 PM ET): Players that work with software watched Los Angeles upset the top-seeded Canucks in a chippy 4-2 win in Vancouver, which sets up a must-win for the Canucks.

MLB Odds

Angels Yankees Odds (1:05 PM ET): Los Angeles’ C.J. Wilson will take on the Yankees’ Phil Hughes in a meeting of two favorites for the American League pennant.

Rangers Twins Odds (1:10 PM ET): Texas’ Yu Darvish was up and down in his MLB debut, and he’ll get on the hill again to face Minnesota’s Nick Blackburn on Saturday afternoon.

Rays Red Sox Odds (4:05 PM ET): Tampa Bay’s Jeremy Hellickson was hit by a ball in batting practice this week, but he is fine and will get the call to take on the Red Sox’s Clay Buchholz in a clash of American League East rivals.

NASCAR Betting

Samsung Mobile 500 Odds (7:30 PM ET): The Sprint Cup series took a week off, but they’ll resume at Texas Motor Speedway for the Samsung Mobile 500, the first of two races this season at Texas and the co-favorites are Jimmie Johnson and Tony Stewart, who have combined to win the last six Cup titles. However, neither have ever won the spring race at Texas, so this could be a difficult pick for sharps.
