Dwight King scored twice, captain Dustin Brown added the game-winner, and Jonathan Quick made 25 saves as the Los Angeles Kings wasted no time at all securing the road split for the first two games of their Western Conference finals series against the Phoenix Coyotes with a 4-2 win on Sunday. The Clippers will move on to face the San Antonio Spurs in the second round.

The Los Angeles Dodgers had no problem without their MVP hitter in an 11-5 win over the San Diego Padres on Sunday, securing the victory after Matt Kemp was forced to leave the game with a hamstring issue. The Dodgers got four RBI AJ Ellis and another three RBI from Bobby Abreu, who replaced Kemp after two at-bats. Ted Lilly went 6.1 innings to improve to 5-0 on the season, and while that is good news it won’t be good any more if Kemp cannot return this week. Meanwhile, the Seattle Mariners spoiled Andy Pettitte’s return to the mound with a 6-2 win over the New York Yankees, and the Tampa Bay Rays avoided a sweep at the hands of the first place Baltimore Orioles with 9-8 win at Camden Yards.

Golf News: Kuchar Wins The Players’ Championship; Tiger Finishes 40th

Matt Kuchar secured his first win in 38 starts on the PGA Tour dating back to 2010 with a win at the Players Championship on Sunday. Meanwhile, Tiger Woods finished tied for 40th, barely finishing below par in another tough weekend for the former World No. 1.
