Sports Betting Online – A Look At Thursday’s Betting Slate

Postby Freddy Wills » Wed Jun 27, 2012 5:59 pm

players will have a few different wagering options on Thursday as the second semifinal of the European Championship will be held, along with a trio of matchups from the National League in Major League Baseball and finally, Tiger Woods’ tournament tees off in Maryland.

Euro 2012 Betting

Germany Italy Odds (2:45 PM ET): Most players that use services figured Germany would have gotten to this point, and it should be no surprise that the Germans are -118 favorites in this huge match against Italy, who are rated at +320. Italy dominated England to get to this point, while the Germans had their way with Greece, so expect an enthralling contest between two Euro powers.

MLB Betting

Pirates Phillies Odds (1:05 PM ET): Before you do some , a pair of state rivals will stage a matinee in the City of Brotherly Love as Pittsburgh’s A.J. Burnett takes on Philadelphia’s Kyle Kendrick. The Phillies are trying to make a late push for .500 before the All-Star break, and the Pirates are looking to get into the break above water.

Mets Dodgers Odds (10:10 PM ET): Los Angeles’ Chris Capuano has been one of the surprises of the season and is going for his 10th win of the season against the Mets, who let Capuano go after last season. They’ll counter with Chris Young, who is making his fifth start of the campaign after missing the early part of the season.

Reds Giants Odds (10:15 PM ET): The best sports betting sites ( for more information) may have this total a little lower than in other games as Cincinnati’s Johnny Cueto faces off with San Francisco’s Madison Bumgarner in a meeting of two pitchers looking to reach double figures in victories.

Golf Odds

AT&T National Odds (tee times start at 7:00 AM ET): Tiger Woods is a sizable favorite at the AT&T National, a tournament he hosts and won back in 2009. That was also the last year that this event was held at Congressional, which was mauled by Rory McIlroy in last year’s U.S. Open, so the course could be playing a little harder than before. Woods will be joined by defending champion Nick Watney and K.J. Choi, who took the inaugural tournament in 2007, at 12:50 PM ET. Other notable groups are Dustin Johnson, Hunter Mahan and Davis Love III at 7:50 AM ET, along with Lucas Glover, Brian Gay and Angel Cabrera at 8:27 AM ET, and Jim Furyk, Robert Garrigus and Jason Day at 1:02 PM ET. The winning score here has been from -9 to -13 in the past, but Congressional could have a little more bite, so consider that in your favorite .
