Online Betting – A Look At Thursday’s Betting Slate

Most players know that the summertime means a lot of baseball betting, and you’ll get a few matchups on Thursday, starting in the afternoon. It’ll be joined by some golf betting as one of the newer tournaments on the PGA Tour schedule received an injection of star power for this year’s event.

MLB Betting

Marlins Brewers Odds (2:10 PM ET): Miami will give the ball to Mark Buehrle, who is wrapping up his first half-season in the National League, while Milwaukee counters with Michael Fiers, who is coming off a 10-strikeout performance against Arizona in his last outing.

Giants Nationals Odds (7:05 PMET): Players that use betting software ( betting software information) and are considering Cy Young options should have an eye on this game as Matt Cain will be on the hill for the Giants going for his 10th win of the season. The Nationals will go with Ross Detwiler, who is making the transition from the bullpen to the rotation.

Cubs Braves Odds (7:10 PM ET): Chicago’s Matt Garza has been the subject of trade rumors for the last few weeks now, but he continues to grind for the Cubs, who aren’t giving him much run support. The Braves will go with young Mike Minor, who has given up four runs or more in eight of his last 10 starts for Atlanta.

Phillies Mets Odds (7:10 PM ET): In the marquee matchup of the day, New York’s R.A. Dickey would have to be considered the favorite for the Cy Young in the National League, and he’ll lead the Mets out against Cole Hamels, who has 10 wins of his own, two behind Dickey.

Reds Padres Odds (10:05 PM ET): Mat Latos was traded from San Diego to Cincinnati for Edinson Volquez (and three other players) back in December, and the two will meet on the west coast on Thursday. Latos has tossed two complete games in a row, and he’d love to make it a third against his former team.

Golf Odds

Greenbrier Classic odds (tee times start at 7:00 AM ET): Tiger Woods claimed his third win of the season at the tournament he hosts, the AT&T National, and now he’ll try to go back-to-back as the favorite at the Greenbrier Classic, which is only in its second year of existence. Woods will tee off at 8:10 AM ET alongside U.S. Open champion Webb Simpson and Steve Stricker, while the afternoon tee times are anchored by Phil Mickelson, defending champion Scott Stallings and Stuart Appleby, who shot an amazing 59 in the first edition in 2012. The rugged terrain in West Virginia will make for an interesting weekend, so check out the daily matchups when you .
