players know this is a slow time of year for sports and it doesn’t surprise anyone that the schedule is now heavy on baseball, which is the main course on Saturday, but there are also a couple of fights in the boxing world worth keeping an eye on.

MLB Betting

Angels Yankees Odds (1:05 PM ET): Jerome Williams gets the call for the Angels, while the Yankees counter with Freddy Garcia, who is in the rotation due to an injury to Andy Pettitte.

Mets Braves Odds (4:05 PM ET): R.A. Dickey was one of the bigger surprises of the first half among those that use software, and the Mets’ knuckleballer goes up against Atlanta’s Tommy Hanson.

Cardinals Reds Odds (4:05 PM ET): In this clash of National League Central rivals, Lance Lynn gets the ball for St. Louis, while Cincinnati goes with Mike Leake.

Nationals Marlins Odds (7:10 PM ET): Another pair of division rivals meet in Miami, where the Marlins will send out Mark Buerhle to take on Washington’s Gio Gonzalez in a battle of former American League pitchers.

Red Sox Rays Odds (7:10 PM ET): Boston’s Clay Buchholz returns from the disabled list for his fourth meeting of the season with the Rays, who will counter with David Price.

Astros Giants Odds (9:05 PM ET): Houston’s Wandy Rodriguez may be traded before the deadline, as could San Francisco’s Tim Lincecum, but that is because the two-time Cy Young winner has been terrible in 2012.

Rangers Mariners Odds (9:10 PM ET): Texas’ Yu Darvish has definitely boosted the Rangers’ odds at the , and he’ll lead his team out on Saturday to face the Mariners and Felix Hernandez.

Boxing Odds


Haye Chisora Odds (5:00 PM ET): David Haye and Dereck Chisora got into a fight after Chisora lost to Vitali Klitschko, and the stage was set for a heavyweight grudge match, which takes place on Saturday in West Ham in London. Haye is a -295 favorite at in this matchup of former champions, and this should be a great fight with the WBA Intercontinental and WBO titles on the line.

Khan Garcia Odds (11:00 PM ET): Khan was supposed to be fighting Lamont Peterson in a rematch after Peterson stunned him in December, but after Peterson tested positive for a banned substance, Khan needed a fight and he’ll get it from Danny Garcia in this 140-pound bout. Khan is favored to defend his WBA light-welterweight title, as well as win the vacant WBC and The Ring belts for the same weight, and coming in at -600, it’ll be a huge upset if Garcia pulls out the win in your sports betting book.
