of the Olympics so far would show that the United States and China are battling it out for the medal lead, and the American men will be in action on Saturday on the basketball court as they prepare for their medal round next week. Elsewhere, baseball and the UFC are also on the menu.

Olympic Betting

Russia Spain Odds (6:15 AM ET): Spain is favored by 5.5 points in this battle of Group B undefeated teams, and the Spanish are still on a collision course with the Americans for a gold-medal clash.

Lithuania USA Odds (9:30 AM ET): Team USA is favored by 34.5 points in your against Lithuania after setting a slew of point-scoring records in their last game against Nigeria and that doesn’t bode well for their opponents the rest of the way.

MLB Betting

Blue Jays Athletics Odds (4:05 PM ET): Toronto’s Ricky Romero has lost his last seven starts in a row, and the northern California native will lead the Blue Jays into Oakland to take on A.J. Griffin and the Athletics.

Marlins Nationals Odds (7:05 PM ET): In this National League East clash, Miami will send out Mark Buerhle to face Jordan Zimmermann and Washington in the nation’s capital.

Diamondbacks Phillies Odds (7:05 PM ET): Philadelphia has basically given up on the season and their odds have plummeted, but that won’t stop Roy Halladay from giving his all on the mound as the Phillies host Arizona and Joe Saunders.

Angels White Sox Odds (7:10 PM ET): Los Angeles’ Ervin Santana gets called to the mound on Saturday for the Angels in the Windy City, while the White Sox counter with Gavin Floyd in Chicago.

Pirates Reds Odds (7:10 PM ET): players should keep an eye on this matchup of National League Central leaders as James MacDonald will go for Pittsburgh, while Cincinnati leans on Mike Leake.

UFC Odds

UFC on Fox 4 Odds (main card starts at 9:00 PM ET): There is a shot at the light-heavyweight title on the line as the co-main events on this network-television card in Los Angeles will have a massive say in the 205-pound division. Former champions Mauricio “Shogun” Rua and Lyoto Machida will face Brandon Vera and Ryan Bader, respectively, and whoever puts on a show for the fans with a spectacular performance will go on to face either champion Jon Jones or Dan Henderson, who will meet in September. The UFC had to do something after a poor card in Calgary, and the decision to put so much on the line here adds another layer to this matchup for those that bet on sports (lay a wager ).
