Of course, is going to take most of the spotlight on Saturday, and there are five matchups worth looking at in your sportsbook. Elsewhere, two South American teams will clash on the pitch as the Copa America is winding down.
MLB Betting
Athletics Yankees Odds (1:05 PM ET): Sports betting players should be in for a wild ride to kick things off on the baseball diamond on Saturday, as Oakland’s Rich Harden will face off against the Yankees’ A.J. Burnett. Both of these pitchers are liable to strike out 10 batters, but walk another six….all in the same start. Harden is getting his fitness back after yet another stint on the disabled list, while Burnett is coming off a five-walk performance.
Tigers Twins Odds (4:10 PM ET): These American League Central rivals go at it in Minnesota, where the Twins will send out Scott Baker, while the Tigers counter with Brad Penny. Both of these pitchers have been around for a while and they know that things are about to heat up heading into August.
Braves Reds Odds (4:10 PM ET): In a meeting of National League contenders, the Reds will give the ball to young Homer Bailey, while the Braves go with Derek Lowe, who made his major-league debut with Boston back in 1997, when Bailey was nine years old.
Blue Jays Rangers Odds (8:05 PM ET): fans are still a couple months away from their season starting, but another Toronto team should be able to hold their interest as the Blue Jays take their bats to Texas for what should be a high-scoring series. Carlos Villanueva will be on the hill for the Blue Jays, while the Rangers send out Matt Harrison.
Brewers Giants Odds (9:05 PM ET): Finally on the West Coast, the Brewers will call on Randy Wolf in San Francisco, while the Giants counter with All-Star Ryan Vogelsong, who came back from the All-Star break with a dominant performance against the Los Angeles Dodgers. Don’t expect high MLB scores in this game.
The PayPerHead.com program now offers services for as low as $5 per head. That is quite a deal when compared to some of its competitors like .
Soccer Betting
Peru Venezuela Odds (3:00 PM ET): Venezuela is a slight +135 favorite to come away with third place in the Copa America over Peru, who is rated at +175 and a draw comes in at +215. Venezuela will be trying to erase the ugly scenes of their brawl following a loss against Paraguay, which they don’t want to overshadow what will be their best result in the history of the tournament, regardless of whether they win or lose. This will be Peru’s best finish since a fourth-place result in 1997, but they must overcome the odds in your sportsbook.
