Strome was a big threat against the Devils last season, amassing three goals and two assists in four meetings. Alex Ovechkin managed to net 31 goals and 34 assists last season and is striving to reach Wayne Gretzky’s record. The Capitals have a solid goalie in Charlie Lindgren who was a big reason they made the playoffs. The 30-year-old net minder generated a 2.67 GAA and a sharp .911 save % accompanied by a 25-16-7 record last season.

They are also 10-3 ATS as non-division road dogs. Finally, Washington head coach Dan Quinn is 14-5 SU and 15-4 ATS as a dog when his team is coming off a win, including 5-0 ATS as a dog of six or more points.
